Mobile Pyrolysis

re:char is currently developing and launching a small-scale, mobile pyrolyzer for on-site use at farms, vineyards and food processing plants. Our units are designed to be low-cost, constructed using locally-available and recycled materials. We are targeting this technology for rural applications in the developed and developing world.

pyrolyzer

Specifics

  • Size: Units will be small and modular, capable of attachment to a pick-up truck or tractor for transportation.
  • Flexibility: Our units are capable of generating biochar, combustible gas and raw bio-oil in a user-selectable ratios.
  • Efficiency: Our units can produce value-added products without relying on complicated fluidized bed systems or an inert carrier gas. Our units are designed to be self-sustaining for distributed, in-field uses.
